The Artist
I started my design path in San Francisco a few years after university in Illinois. Chicago is my birthplace but the Bay Area is where I found opportunity. After college, I wanted to pursue fashion design, beginning in retail. Transition was difficult at first, as the Bay Area is not known to have a fashion industry. My intent was Los Angeles, but with the innovation, the iconic scenes of the North Bay, and the many start-ups that breed entrepreneurship, I saw tremendous potential here and stayed. Fast forward, I got out of retail after meeting a mentor name the late Seymour Jaron. Meeting him opened the door for me in fashion design. That is when the brand developed in 2000. To make my story short, I started as a clothing brand developing three collections (Check my Fashion page). However, with the outstanding cost, I obsoleted the effort and rebranded as a freelancer. Since then, I've evolved my talent going beyond fashion. Now I do custom clothing, product photography, and digital art too. I am a full-time artist and very happy I chose my path to finding success here in the Bay. I hope everyone enjoy my work ...

The Influence
... A common question for artists is "what inspires you," I used to give answers describing specific occurrences but not anymore. With consistency and time one becomes naturally better at things they do. With that said, what has improved is my imagination. I no longer have anything that "inspires me," but now I let my mind run wild until I have a creative conviction and take action. Hence, I have navigated many creative areas. We live in a different work space now that the term "Influencer" is a job title. So adapting to this change and the growth of technology, I am fluid in that direction; I hold no title, I am a sole artist, and the idea is providing multiple services to you from all talents I have instead of specializing in one thing. Contact creators have allowed the individual to become their brand instead of creating their brands. I did not create Herbert Victoria - I am Herbert Victoria ...

The Talent
... Art is my culture. In this lifestyle, I'm influenced by unique people and places. It is food to my imagination. Through elevating thought, I've developed that intuitive eye to be able to make my imagination a reality _ if I have that conviction. However, I am still developing ways of seeing others (your vision). To explain briefly _ fashion design manifested in college, changing my major from architecture to that industry. Photography was developed from business hardship, not being able to afford a photographer for my clothing brand. Digital art came from my childhood passion for illustrating. To sketch on paper to now drawing on computers. This catapults self-innovation. This change exposed more potential in me. In addition, what allowed me to advance were the many creative people I've met from all walks of life. I've been to more than 20 countries and have had more than a hundred creative connections. These experiences compelled my talent.
