This dress was inspired by the beauty of West African culture and textile traditions, and it is my favorite piece from my entire West African collection. It is truly one of a kind and a must have for your closet.
 
The silhouette is a relaxed trapeze shape with inseam pockets and a belt that includes a bamboo buckle. You can cinch the waist for shape or wear it loose for a free and effortless look. The fabric is an authentic West African hand tie dyed batik cotton known as pagne, and I lined it with polyester to give the wearer ease, comfort, and smooth movement.
 
I created this piece with care, intention, and respect for the tradition that inspired it.
