Halter Top Only "Sawat De Kha"
- See Pant Separately
- Secondary garment was edited to model
Inspired by Thailand’s countryside and SE Asia's urban fashion. I backpacked throughout the region and discovered gems of vegetation and rich Asian culture. In addition, I noted how local people dressed in connection to those of royalty. The challenge was combining SE Asia's main culture with its subgroup into western fashion. Therefore, I came upon this amazing cotton batik fabric from Indonesia. Batik dyeing is a prominent practice in textiles within SE Asia. Thus, the fabric embodies the tradition of SE Asia culture. But radiates both the landscape and royalty within their society. The ensemble is elegant and feminine. The design is a pleated halter top, zips up and snaps in the back for easy access. Great blouse to wear with jeans or other pants. I consider this another amazing summer piece!
