This item inspired by the dynamic culture in Cartagena, Colombia. I got the chance to see a small part of this town during my visit to the country. Gorgeous city one will encounter! Their fashion identity stood out with its vibrant culture and traditional clothing worn by many city dwellers. One distinct feature is their use of bright colors. With my theme of fashion, culture, and art, I wanted to compile my experience in one contemporary style. Hence, I made this dress. The color shows the pride of Colombia, and the method radiates their traditional dress style. It's a midriff flared dress tiered at the neck and below the waistline. Halter at the top and zips up in the back. Top fabric is a lightweight cotton and linen blend, whereas, the bottom is complete cotton broadcloth. A delightful floral motif added to the design. Great summer look and fun to wear!
